Thank you Arizona Department of Education and Donors Choose! Park Elementary School Reading Specialist received multiple sets of little books for little readers. Thank you Donors Choose and friends and family who donated $600+ for our guided reading/intervention at Park Elementary.

Child Tax Credit! As part of the State of Nutrition Action Committee (SNAC) in partnership with Code for America, the Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Health and Nutrition Services is sharing important information about the 2021 Child Tax Credit and encourages operators to share this information with every household. There are approximately 62,000 children in Arizona who have yet to be claimed for this tax credit for 2021. There’s still time to claim the Child Tax Credit. Families can receive up to $3,600 for each child. Most families are eligible for this credit! Access It: Families can claim their child tax credit by going to www.getCTC.org/az

What's going on at HHS? Cool things! Life skills! Career skills! CTE Construction Instructor, David Smith, invited the Arizona Masonry Council to come to HHS to instruct students on basic masonry skills and they are here for the entire week! What a great opportunity for our HHS Roadrunners! "Laying the foundation" for future careers for HHS Roadrunners! Way to go Mr. Smith, HHS and HHS Construction Class! Reminders: Park PT conferences are today, September 6th Hulet PT conferences at tomorrow, September 7th Park, Hulet, HJHS and HHS will host conferences on Thursday (1 pm - 4:30 pm and HHS and HJHS from 5:30 - 7:30 pm). IWES will have conferences in October. Friday, September 16th there will be no school. This was a day built into the HUSD #3 calendar this year! Have a great week Roadrunners!

Good Afternoon HUSD#3 families, As part of our 2:1 (each student has a computer at home and one at school), HUSD #3 will offer a device protection plan! The plans start at $25 for an individual student up to $75 for a family of three or more students. Sergeant Benally is the Platoon Sergeant and Training Non-Commissioned Officer for Engineer Support Platoon at Landing Support Company for the 3D Landing Support Battalion.
