HUSD #3 hosted a Roadrunner Drug Free Rally this morning at the Old Courthouse in recognition of Drug Free Week! Thanks to all Roadrunners that participated including HUSD #3 staff, students, parents and special thanks to the Holbrook Police Department, Navajo County Sheriff's Office, Supervisor Peshlakai, HHS food service (for breakfast) and the HHS cheerleaders for your participation! Thank you Yoshi, Karah and Starla for great drug free speeches and Mrs. Gardner and all students for singing Be Like Me, Drug Free! Great job Roadrunners, Celebrate Life, Live Drug Free!

Grow AZ Brings Future First Responder Career Presenter to HHS! Lauri Wong, the founder of LEOCode4 will be on the HHS campus to visit with students from 11-12 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at the Grow Arizona Center! An assembly will also be held from 10:50 to 11:30 on Friday, Oct. 28 at the GGPAC for students in grades 9th-12th. To learn more about LEOCode4 visit leocode4.org. Walk With Me To Be Drug Free- Wednesday, October 26th in celebration of Red Ribbon Week. Students will be dropped off by buses at the Old Courthouse (across from Wells Fargo). Breakfast will be served for all students. Parents and community members are invited to walk to school with our students to celebrate being drug free! Wear RED! Hope you can join us!
Students not participating may be dropped off at their school sites.


REMINDER: Hwy 77 closure begins on Saturday, October 22nd- Tuesday, October 25th!
The Arizona Department of Transportation is advising motorists to plan for a scheduled four-day closure of SR 77 (Navajo Boulevard) at the railroad crossing in Holbrook. The closure is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, through Tuesday, Oct. 25. The BNSF crossing is beyond its service life and needs to be replaced. The Holbrook School District will remain in session but parents may choose to have their students on an ITM day (at-home learning) or bussing will be provided through the McLaws Rd. to Joe City route. We encourage parents to contact their child's school if this will impact travel or attendance for October 24th and 25th. Thanks for your understanding!
