Greetings Community Members, Businesses, and HUSD #3 Stakeholders- On April 23rd HUSD #3, in coordination with the City of Holbrook and the Chamber of Commerce, will be hosting our first Love Our Community Event at Holbrook High School. We are excited to bring together students, parents, staff, businesses and community partners to show our love for our communities and share the good things that our communities provide. We invite you to join us as a vendor, a business display, a presentation, or any other ideas you may have to enhance our Love Our Community event. We hope you will join us to celebrate our schools and communities! Who: All school and community stakeholders are invited. What: A Love Our Community event to bring together stakeholders and community members to share ideas, promote businesses, and celebrate our community assets. Just a reminder: Required State Reading and Math testing will be on Tuesday and Wednesday (April 15th/16th) this week. Students should be well rested and on-time for testing. We ask parents to start talking with your child now and encourage them to Give No Less Than Their Best on their state testing this week.

Don't forget! TOMORROW (Wednesday, April 2nd) is the State Writing Test for all students in 6th-8th grades. It is important that your child be well rested, in school and on-time. Additionally, please encourage them to Give No Less Than Their Best! They worked hard on their writing skills all year and now we get to see them shine on their state testing!

Students modeled Plate Boundaries today! *Divergent Boundary, Convergent Boundary with a subduction zone, Convergent Boundary where folded mountains are formed and Transform Boundary where plates slide by each other. HJHS "Loves Our Community" as students go above and beyond supporting and providing service throughout the community. Huge shout out and a thank you to Student Council for their participation/activity "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" for the IEC "Reading Under the Stars Night" and our 8th grade math students, Melanie Yazzie, Joey Lopez and Trevor Williams for the hours they put in at Holbrook's "Ranch Rodeo Day". Attention Parents/Families: HJHS School Pictures have arrived. Individual spring pictures that were pre-ordered as well as picture proofs that can still be ordered are coming home with your child(ren) today. Absent students can pick theirs up in the office on Monday.

Greetings Roadrunners! We hope you had a great spring break! The final quarter of the school year begins on Monday, March 17th! We have less than 50 school days left in the year! We have a lot to accomplish as we begin the last phase of the school year! State testing, graduation, promotion and end of year activities are just around the corner!
