HUSD got into the holiday spirit this past weekend with IWES and Park Elementary participating in the Festival of Trees and parade!
HUSD will begin winter break Monday, December 23rd and will return to school on Monday, January 6th!

Student Arrival: Please drop off students dressed in their pajamas by 5:30 PM. Check the attached flier to see which room to drop them off in.
Tickets: Each family will receive 2 tickets, sent home with your oldest child on Tuesday, December 2nd. Please bring your tickets with you for admittance.
Live Streaming: The concert will also be live-streamed for your convenience!
Empty Seats Policy: Unclaimed seats will be released to waiting families at 5:50 PM.
Our students have been working hard alongside Mrs. Hunsaker and Mrs. Self to prepare for this special evening, so whether you’re joining us in person or online, we hope you enjoy the show! 🌟

Dear Families,
We are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming "Twas the Night Before Christmas" Christmas Concert on Thursday, December 6th! The concert will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the school auditorium. We kindly ask that students arrive by 5:30 p.m., dressed in their favorite pajamas, to prepare for a wonderful evening of holiday music and cheer.
Due to limited seating in our auditorium, each family will initially receive 2 tickets for admission. If your family would like to request additional tickets (up to 3 more), please contact our office by Friday, November 20th to make your request. All tickets will be sent home with the oldest child in each family on the afternoon of Tuesday, December 3rd.
We look forward to sharing this magical evening with you and celebrating the season together. Please mark your calendars, and thank you for helping make this a special event for our students!

We’re excited to invite you to our first APTT Meeting (Academic Parent Teacher Team Meeting) on Tuesday, November 12th! This is a wonderful opportunity for you to learn more about the foundational skills your child is focusing on, discover games to support their learning at home, and set goals for their continued success.
Your involvement is crucial! With your child spending the majority of their time with you, your support at home plays an essential role in their progress.
Meeting Times:
First Grade: 5:15 PM - 6:15 PM
Kindergarten: 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Child Care:
Child care will be provided for children ages 2 years old through 5th grade, so you can engage fully with the meeting and connect with other families.
If you have children in both grade levels, please attend one meeting and visit the other classroom afterward to pick up any materials.
We look forward to seeing you and working together to support your child’s learning journey!
