HJHS! Welcome Back--School Starts Tomorrow! ~ ~We had a great turn out at our Back to School Open House. We are looking forward to seeing all of our students on campus bright and early tomorrow morning. ~ ~Schedules will be picked up at the appropriate grade level table set up in the quad in the morning. We will also pass out the student supply pouches at that time. **Final reminder--students must have a completed registration on file to attend their classes. ~ ~Don't forget your water bottle...It's still hot out there. Welcome Back, HJHS!! ~School starts Thursday, Aug. 1st @ 7:55am and releases at 3:35pm.~ ~We are ready and we cannot wait to welcome our students to the 2024-2025 SY. ~ ~Students will be given a copy of their class schedule upon arrival Wednesday morning. Tables will be set up in the quad by grade level and last name to pick up schedules.~ ~We will use the first couple days of school to get to know students, build positive connections, and help them get settled in and feel good about the new year.~ ~Important: If you did not register your child you will need to do so before they can report to classes. You can contact the office at 928-524-3959 if you have questions or need help.~ ~Reminder: HJHS open-house/meet the teachers is tomorrow from 2:30pm-4:00pm. We will not be handing out schedules during that time however they are visible through the Infinite Campus parent and/or student portal.~

A few announcements as you wrap up the last days of Summer Break~~ ~~HJHS Open House is Wednesday, July 31st from 2:30pm-4:00pm. ~ ~First Day of School is Thursday, August 1st!~ ~7:55am-First Bell ~ ~8:00am-School Day Begins ~ ~Lunch: 6th Grade-11:55am; 7th/8th Grade-12:35pm ~ ~3:35pm-School Day Ends ~ ~School Supplies: Students will be provided a supply pouch with basic supplies (pencils, pens, eraser, highlighters) and an AVID binder for organization. If students prefer to get their own binder (3in or 4in) &/or additional supplies that is just fine. ~Refillable Water Bottles are HIGHLY Encouraged for students. ~ ~Athletic Packet/Physicals: Fall Sports will begin on August 5th. Students need a completed athletic packet to participate. They can be picked up in the school office. ~ ~Registration must be completed before students can start school....don't forget to register ASAP. ~ ~Returning Students: Schedules are now viewable through Infinite Campus. ~ ~We look forward to seeing our students soon.

School is about to start and it's still HOT outside which means proper hydration is even more important! 💦 HJHS will be scheduling intentional "Hydration Breaks" to ensure our students and staff are drinking enough water! 💦 Refillable water bottles are highly encouraged! HJHS Lost and Found LAST CALL! Is your child still missing a sweater, coat, shoes, or other personal belongings from this school year ; including items left in the locker rooms? Please stop by HJHS this week, June 18th-21st (Tuesday-Friday from 8:00am-12:00pm) and take a look. Any unclaimed items will be donated after June 21st.

Lost and Found at HJHS! Is your child still missing a sweater, coat, shoes, or other personal belongings from this school year? If so, it could be sitting in the HJHS lost and found. Last call to claim lost items. The office is open Mondays-Thursdays 7:30am-5:00pm (closed 12:30-1:00 for lunch) and open Fridays from 8:00am-12:00pm.
