HJHS is excited to share that we have successfully moved out of school improvement status and moved into highly effective status earning a B rating with the Arizona Department of Education because of the academic improvements and overall success of our students. In addition to reaching a B rating, HJHS was only 1.46 points from an A.
HJHS is not only the highest rated school in the HUSD#3, we are the highest scoring school of all surrounding (peer) junior high schools.
