We would like to recognize Torrance Calvin, Skylar Hardy, Maggie Cepi, Bobbi Seaton, Tylene Nez and Lorenzen Benally for their 1st place finishes in the female hogan, male hogan, and sweat lodge fair competitions.

HHS will be hosting an interactive career fair on Friday, Sept. 30th. Open to Students 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM. General Public 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

HHS Parent Teacher Conference is Thursday, Sept. 8 1pm - 4:30pm & 5:30pm - 7:30pm at the Tony Muñoz Gymnasium.

Reminders: Park PT conferences are today, September 6th Hulet PT conferences at tomorrow, September 7th Park, Hulet, HJHS and HHS will host conferences on Thursday (1 pm - 4:30 pm and HHS and HJHS from 5:30 - 7:30 pm). IWES will have conferences in October. Friday, September 16th there will be no school. This was a day built into the HUSD #3 calendar this year! Have a great week Roadrunners!

Sergeant Benally is the Platoon Sergeant and Training Non-Commissioned Officer for Engineer Support Platoon at Landing Support Company for the 3D Landing Support Battalion. Justin Ahasteen U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and HHS Class of 2014 Alum works as a Government & Legislative Affairs Associate for the Navajo Nation Washington Office advocating for positive policy changes to improve Native American communities. Justin is graduate from Rio Salado Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Public Administration and Northern Arizona University with a Bachelors in Justice Stuides. Justin is starting his second year of graduate school at American University working towards a Master in Public Administration and Public Policy. Way to go Justin from IWES to Washington D.C.!

Greetings Roadrunners! Fall sports are underway! We are excited to see our Roadrunner athletes in action! As we begin our sports season it is important to be reminded of the Roadrunner Pride that we display as Roadrunner fans! Please practice Roadrunner sportsmanship, please ensure your children are under your supervision when attending events and cheer loud for all Roadrunners! Holbrook vs Ganado- 7 pm at Roadrunner Stadium on Thursday, August 25th! Good luck to all our student-athletes and thank you for being great Roadrunner fans! Don't forget to pick up your season pass for all sports this year!

This Friday, 8/19, we will be issuing HHS Chromebooks to all student that requested one during enrollment. Students report to 4th hour class as normal and will be sent to the library at their assigned time to check out their device.

Kelly Hill traveled to Chicago on June 27th to compete with over 10,000 students from around the nation at the FBLA, NLC (Future Business Leaders of America, National Leadership Conference). Kelly competed in Journalism and walked away with a trophy for 8th place. Way to go Kelly! When One Roadrunner Succeeds, We All Succeed!
