Good Morning Hulet Families!
This morning at approximately 7:40am we had our fire alarm system sound. We evacuated and HVFD swept the school.
Cause of the alarm? Bad smoke detector! Our maintenance crew has rectified this issue and we are back to normal operations!
Thanks to our HPD, HVFD, and HUSD Maintenance crew for their swift response and assisting at keeping our students safe.
“Technology is just a tool. In terms of getting the kids working together and motivating them, the teacher is most important.” – Bill Gates
Teachers are engaging students on tech learning as we acclimate into school. Teachers leverage these tools to deepen student learning!

Hulet Picture Day is Coming!
Save the date, Thursday, August 26th!
Hulet Families, we had a great first day. Each new year always presents new challenges, but we look forward to addressing them and making Hulet a great place to be.
As a reminder, students should NOT be dropped off prior to 7:45am. When entering the round about, please form one line along the inside curb.
At the end of the day, if you are picking up your student, you must be in the pickup line, please do not park and walk across the street.
We appreciate your cooperation to maintain student safety! If you have any after school transportation concerns, please contact the office.
We are beyond excited for the first day of school! The doors will open at 7:45am. School begins at 8:10 and it dismisses at 3:15pm.
If dropping off your student, please drop off at the front of the school. Teachers will be throughout the school to direct students.
If they need to eat breakfast, they will go directly to the cafeteria, otherwise, they will go outside to play.
Thank you for being Roadrunners and welcome back!

Don't forget! Meet the Teacher will be tomorrow night from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Hulet Elementary School!
We can't wait to meet you!
Class lists are posted outside the school!
We are excited to welcome back our students! Meet the teacher is August 3 from 4-6pm!
With ESSER II funds, Hulet adopted a family engagement program called Academic Parent Teacher Teams. The “Family Nights Out” will allow teachers and families to come together to help support student learning.
Today we have teachers on campus learning how to facilitate these meetings. Overwhelmingly the staff is excited to work collaboratively with families!
Thank you to WestEd for supporting this initiative. #WeareRoadrunners #RoadrunnerSpirit
