As we enter the winter season, there is always a potential for winter weather to impact our school schedules. In the case of a school closure, students can complete work at home using a choice board, learning material, or Google Classroom. If an ITM day is called, students may access their choice board activities from this website. All assignments will be due within two days of returning to school. Teachers will be available from 10:00 am to 3:30 to make contact with you to help assist with any work. Attendance will be noted within two school days. Completed work or parent attestation denotes attendance. If you do not turn in the work within two days of returning to school, your student will be marked absent for that day. If you choose not to have your student complete the work, call the school to record the absence. Indian Wells Elementary can be contacted at 928-564-3622. The activities that students will be asked to accomplish vary depending on the grade level and the learning which might have occurred in the classroom if the school were in session.
Any announcement of school closure will be made through the HUSD#3 Superintendent's Office via Facebook, text messages, phone calls, and media notices. Please ensure that your means of communication are up to date.
